Ingeniero telecomunicaciones
Software engineer
Good working environment with motivated individuals
average benefit comparing to others
Audio software engineer co-op
Great Pay, they are flexible with your schedule as a student, They help out with travel costs, and you do get real experience. The Audio team is very friendly, and you won't be doing only software all the time (which can be a pro or a con depending on what you want). The work environment is nice, and I was not part of lots and lots of meetings which as an intern I think that's best.
Like other large tech companies you get stuck doing maintenance rather than innovation, so a lot of the software work feels a bit mundane, fixing minor bugs, error handling, memory leaks etc... I wasn't working on writing algorithms to improve speech quality or finding new ways to reduce noise. They had innovations showcases where you can see the engineers really put their minds and focus on, by far the most exciting and interesting experience was seeing this showcase. It could be due to timing and the stage of development that the company was when I was working there but I felt my role was more of an Acoustic Engineer rather than an Audio Software Engineer.
Business operations manager
The company cares about its people and its customers. Benefits are good. The product saves lives - makes the work we do behind the scenes worth it.
Same things every other large company faces. The pros far outweigh any annoyances.
Software team lead
Good work life balance. Interesting projects
Many organizations changes and closure of departments
Sales development representative (sdr)
Can work from home earn a nice income and continue to get better at your job.
It is a sales job so performance matters and at times you can feel the pressure. Not much of a con but a reality.
Project manager
Great salary and benefits. Engaged leadership. Fantastic peers who are collaborative and always willing to help out. In my team, there is a welcoming spirit and no feelings of competition. Full-time remote work. Lots of opportunities to move around in the company should you desire to learn a new business sleeve or technology. Paid training available. For a tech job this is very stable. Personal satisfaction in working with Critical Radio Communications with Public Safety customers.
Frequent seasons of travel to customer sites. Remembering at the end of the day that cash, margins, and revenue are the driving force. Huge organization that can make it hard to get noticed if you want promotions or desire quick upward mobility.
Devops engineer
Good company, good salary, life-work balance.
None at the moment, all good.
Sr. sales engineer
1. Strong, cohesive technology and market strategy across the Public Safety and Enterprise sectors. 2. Competitive compensation and good benefits package, comparable to industry standards. 3. Great resources allocated for successful internal programs and external market execution. 4. Strong culture that encourages the adoption of AI and modern technologies for daily work and efficiency.
1. Requires improved synergy and collaboration between key business units (e.g., Mobile Video and Fixed Video). 2. Requires even more R&D and Engineering resources to meet current demands for aggressive product development and delivery timelines.
