Business development executive
There is no pro that I can mention or think of
Salary-wise, low. Bad management and communication are corrupted.
Software engineer
Good learning , lots of interesting work
None at this time. Good
Product marketing intern
Very friendly environment and even senior management is willing to talk to interns
Honestly enjoyed it very much
Production assistant
Very chill, Good workspace, stress-free, nothing missing, Comfortable and ok!
The work itself can be boring, but hey-ho!
Software sales
Good work life balance as many of the internal folks are low productivity. Fairly easy to get meetings with brand recognition.
Competition is outmaneuvering and innovating faster than Motorola. Low pay in sales. Software architecture is outdated (doesn’t follow vendor best practices e.g. VMware) This makes for unreliable products and poor performance on the databases. Lack of redundancy and disaster recovery (options are 20 years old) The internal departments that sales relies on to be successful are full of dinosaurs who don’t want you to rock the boat or they would have to get off their couch and work.
Graduate system engineer
The co workers here are very helpful and always open to share knowledge if you are not familiar with what you’re working on. A great place to start your career. Lots of benefits too under Motorola that you rarely find in other companies.
I don’t have problems or trouble working here. Everyone is very helpful, including the managers here who often check on your progress when you first settling in.
Oracle cpq developer
Great learning and growth opportunities. Exposure to diverse projects. Involved in various types of work.
Heavy workload at times. Limited work-life balance during peak periods. Processes can be unstructured. Lack of clear career path in some roles. Management communication could be improved. Compensation may not match industry standards. Fast-paced environment not suited for everyone. Too many tasks, not enough focus.
Sales
there are not many pros to list
There are not many pros - unless you are a family member of any leadership. compensation package in well below market.
Head of sales
Innovation through several acquisition Strong leadership Opportunity to grow within the company
Requires strong ability to work in complete autonomy
Sr. account manager
After a considerable number of years in the communications industry, I feel like I have found my permanent home. This is the 4th company I have worked for and have never felt so welcomed. Additionally, this is truly a team atmosphere and everyone wants to help you win.
There is a lot of information to learn and Salesforce has great information, but it is very tedious to find the correct details about an account. Opportunities I took over are very outdated and it's difficult to determine what the actual opportunities are.
