Ninja Van has a strong community and offers autonomy in daily work. The community is supportive and the colleagues are all down-to-earth.
The pace can be high at times as this is still a growth company/startup
None, no recommendation. Can be a learning experience in a chaotic environment
Just google ninja van, you will only see bad review about the company. Inexperienced recruiter does not hire proper talent, thus the company has lack of expertise to grow. Chaotic working environment, people here are generally unhappy and grumpy. Foresee the company to fail further in the coming years. People frequently quit after short period.
Really appceiate the autonomy given, suitable for a self-starters
Might be challenging if you are reliant on directions
Great family atmosphere and togetherness among peers
Top down approach from Regional to local team
Great mentors, great freedom and independence
Lack of transparency from C suite, some senior managers are not trusting enough of other colleagues' capabilities/think that they are better than others.
Great culture, people and leadership
Minimal salary increment, unattractive bonus structure
Flexible working hours, fast paced environment
Uncertainty of work security and direction from top down
Great environment. Not too strict as other company. Have objective.
The bonus too low even staff excel. Please appreciate your staff by giving them a lot of payback based on their performance. We work hard to achieved the goal.
None, They only talk about penalty super toxic environment
They can penalty us for 6 months ago delivery No black one white for penalty No family time Sunday force to work No bonus Big boss don’t care about drivers welfare
- Autonomy and empowerment. You get to propose new ideas and are given the opportunity to implement initiatives without having to jump through hoops or multiple levels of formal approvals. - Exposure. If you are part of the regional team, you get to work together with colleagues from across SEA and projects are often quite large scale. - Colleagues are friendly and helpful! Nice culture which I really enjoyed. - Casual environment. You can wear slippers, shorts to work and not be judged. In fact, slippers, berms and a plain t-shirt is like the unofficial uniform for some male colleagues there.
- Lack of documentation and processes, things can get messy especially during handovers where knowledge can get lost. - Management is very cost conscious, so you're constantly working on tight budgets. - Heavy workloads and at times there are no plans for manpower to be backfilled (see point 2) so you end up taking on the work of multiple people, without an end in sight. This ends up being a vicious cycle when people start leaving. - No clear career development plans.
