There was good AAA projects Mostly nice people Nice start for AAA career and experience gathering
All the corporate shenanigans Low salary for AAA They see you only as production machine No benefits or bonuses Problems with new projects
Room to grow Trainings Ok ish salary Paid vacation days/sick leave
- you have timetrack every second what you did - some leads have no experience and have no ideea what they are talking about - only the lead is right - you can’t refuse a project even though they say you can in the interview. - you cannot take vacation whenever you want - if you have some free time between tasks you are forced to do a model by they’re choice or learn new programs even if you don’t want to.
A lot of opportunities to learn new things.
Salary caps pretty early without potential for growth
A lot of different interesting projects
Short estimates for some projects, be prepared to work overtime
Good ramp for your career when you start
Too low emotional intelligence of managers
A lot of different projects, great people to work with, top industry clients, opportunities to grow, remote first, flexibility in schedule
Process heavy, yet at the same time too dynamic with changes
A lot of different and interesting projects
Sometimes you can be switched from ongoing project to another
Good atmosphere, great teammates and team management, remote work, team leads want you to succeed
Kinda low salary for Europe cost of living, lack of additional benefits
- lot's of great projects to hone your skills for both artists and managers - skillfull senior artists and managers that love to teach and will help you to grow - friendly people from accross the world, atmosphere in the midlle lane is great - minimum micro-management, "just make your work done" policy (at least it was for me) - salary is usually higher than average in Ukraine
- Constant problems with resource planning lead to projects failure, overtimes, and burnouts (it's like years alredy) - Rapid and not thoroughly planned changes in company structure and operation tools lead to general chaos and gray areas of responsibility - focus on big goals and changes without paying attention to the problems at hand, doesn't pay attention to the middle line thoughts - layoff policy is strange, many skillfull artists were fired during last 2 years in favor of new less experienced people, that only made capacty problems bigger, same goes for management - company spends money on unnecesary digitalisation and internal communication platforms which are not in demand - that went together with "no performance reviews" policy for 1 year. - can't do anything with burnouts, oficial answer I heard from department head "you all a grown people, you need to work on your problems yourself" - With that - if you don't overtime when needed, you eventually got fired -My experience of dealing with the financial department has always been negative - they try to transfer all operations to the contractor, leaving only the task of paying remuneration for themselves
