Promotions are very slow, pay is not great.

-Slightly below market compensation. -The magnitude and rate of share buybacks at parent co. level is concerning and 2025 compensation was noticeably weaker than expected after a great year of operating performance (particularly in Ratings).

Strong work ethic and results doesn't get you promoted. Personality hires have a better chance at succeeding here.

- No growth - Salary freeze - Multiple ownership changes and high turnover ( Used to be IHS Markit and it has been absorbed to S&P Global when I was there and I heard there may be another one coming ).

Delayed and dry Promotions Self learning methodology. No support for new joiners and environment to steep learning curve and survival is less likely for freshers. No extra curricular activities for software developing professionals. No outings no activities for IT departments like fellow analyst workers

The salary structure needs to be readjusted as they offer low salaries in comparison to market.
