no specific con, career progression is a little slow

high pressure in the work.

It feels like recently we inherited all the bad things of a startup with none of the agility, we are run similarly to a government owned company - bad internal com, slow approvals and decision making (we lost all the agility that we had pre covid) and with the recent layoffs office drama is on a different level.

1. Lower pay than the rest of finance 2. Work can feel unfulfilling and monotonous at times 3. Bankers don’t respect us 4. If you want to grow quickly and climb the corporate ladder, maybe not the place to be.

pay is less then market and increment is below average

Sometimes if deadlines are there you required to work at different shift as well
