Good HR policies, Work life balance, Growth opportunities for youngsters, Can switch career to different functions and entities. Can even grab opportunities any ware in the world. Training and learning are given importance.
When you are from a company acquired by SE, be watchful. Especially if you are @50’s. Will not be in the preferred list. Only if you were core SE person, you can look forward for growth. Not a place for working on projects in Process Automation and SCADA systems. This is not a focus area in a competitive market like India. HR role is limited and lacks bandwidth. Though the company talks about work life balance and employee well-being, these are not practiced. Especially in non-core business areas people are expected to perform without any support. May be management way of showing an easy exit path. Over all certain entities, mainly involving projects are not a preferred segment in the company. Talks so much about Digitalization and sustainability. To be seen how it is practiced. Like for a Sustainability event which could be done online, many people could be flying to one place just to attend a few hours of the event. This is the irony. Some middle management roles turn toxic to survive in the competitive environment. They just want to be in lime light. Seldom demonstrate leadership qualities. Like typical corporate pull each other culture.
