I would not recommend this position to anyone seeking a healthy and inclusive work environment. While the role itself may seem promising on paper, the reality is quite different. The institution is located in an area where racial bias is evident, creating a challenging atmosphere for individuals from diverse backgrounds. Unfortunately, this issue extends into the workplace, where inclusivity and respect are not prioritized. Additionally, the overall work environment is toxic. There is a lack of professional support, and workplace politics heavily influence decision-making. Instead of fostering collaboration and academic growth, the culture seems to thrive on favoritism and negativity.
