Head of finance
Strong and supportive group finance.
Lack of recognition and work life balance
Regional sales manager
Having clear roadmap inline with industry requirements
Too much process driven, huge disconnect between departments
Project manager
Great company culture GSDC head is an amazing leader Free cab services
Nothing I can remember. A great company
Senior consultant
The company has got demonstrable learning opportunities e.g. presales, consulting, operations and IT services like cloud. Internal movements are easy for the people who are doing good in their current roles. Salaries are as per the industry standard and may be better in some cases.
Salary structure is demoralizing, 75% salary + 18.75 performance bonus + 6.25% EBITDA is not right for the people in operations, there is no guarantee of receiving 6.25% of the salary altogether, this is huge for the people who are tenured and are on hire band. People in sales play gods, over commit without consulting operations and than make them work unpaid overtime, they have too much of interference in operations, the leaders in operations are almost neglected. They hire salesman in operations, SLT is not ready to take anonymous feedback they want people to come to them for their problems and than 'helps' them leave the organization.
Sales
People are returning to this company because of its culture and transparency with higher management.
Salary could b one thing to make better
Consultant
One of the best work culture, which motivates to learn more and thrive for results.
No such cons. Great place to work
Customer service assistant
the salary is commensurate with the position
33 / 1024 the salary is commensurate with the position
Associate consultant
It was a such great experience the HR (Mr. Nagesh )is so humble I have really not meant such a personality who respects and values others. the entire process was great interview was great because the recruiting team gives you ample time to speak about yourself cracks a joke to light up the mood, the process was quick there was no passing of balls or uncertainty that '' please wait or you are in the process". Whenever they get an update you get an update on the same day.
Don't have any cons in the onboarding process for sure
Manager
Some great people there, even the colleague from India were nice and helpful with the colleagues from other countries.
Positions were not announced, you would only get an announcement that a person was promoted despite bad results in their previous position or without management skills. Promoting wrong people means losing good people which eventually happened.
Anonymous employee
SoftwareONE has always been a supportive and employee focused organization. Throughout my time at SoftwareONE, everyone is always willing to help and lift you up when you need help. Dedication to the customer experience and focus on transforming our service offering to enable our customers to achieve their objectives is what sets SoftwareONE apart.
Needs more focus on benefits but this is improving at this time
Technology services
i love the culture i love the company The people are great Technology and exposure to customers are awesome
Promotion is very slow. I completed a lot of projects but promotion and increase in salary never happened
Partner business manager
Great culture, people and opportunities
Lack of resources in certain areas
Service delivery manager
There is room for growth, options to explore new ways to approach the market
Still explorative in the new business model
Sales development representative (sdr)
Everyone here loves up to the core values they constantly talk about. Everyone is super helpful and approachable
Hybrid workplace, would rather work fully remote
Solution advisor
Car if you work in sales. It is a sales organisation
Management needs to grow more
Cloud solution sales executive
School for work, to learn about cloud and sales.
Company with an excellent atmosphere, until the arrival of some executives hired from the market who ended the culture. The purchase made by Comparex is totally out of context, even with people of dubious integrity in charge forming large silos, and leaving aside its essence.
Specialist
I don't have any at the moment
None I can think of right now
Engineer-modern workplace
- Work Environment - Culture & Values
- Compensation and benefits - Career opportunities
people focus fast-growing work remotely and flexible hours
need to work with very limited budget
Sales specialist - cloud services

Self development opportunities and great team
From People first to Company first
Business development manager
The culture is really something different and the people are the main reason I am remaining at the company.
SoftwareONE has aggressive growth strategies which can be a bit of a hill to climb in the beginning if you are going into the sales position. They provide tools and support ot help but alot falls onto your mindset and skills after that.
Consulting services sales specialist
1 Lots of women in leadership 2 Very strict on hiring only great people managers 3 Compensation plans create harmony as they are designed to reward people for helping each other 4 They pay you the commission they promised
1 VERY hard to get up to speed as there was NO onboarding training and a myriad of hopelessly dis-connected systems to navigate - hope this has been fixed in the last 5 years 2 HUGE TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS - These people LOVE to travel so much that it is just not possible to be productive
Account receivable analyst
You will get exposure of woek
As such I don't have
Wide range of products and services to sell
Poor implementation of the products
Ta specialist
Great communication and fun activities
nothing that i might consider relevant at the moment
a healthy culture and values. work life balance
might need to improve employee benefits
Softwareone is one of the best services based company in my last 12 years of tenure.
No cons which I knew. One thing is the Bangalore office located in busy place.
Practice lead
Culture is amazing, Employee Sat is highly desired, Not hierarchical
Entrepreneurial qualities needed, may turn some people off
I have never laughed as much as I do since I came to SoftwareONE. In meetings and with colleagues. Overall it's a very relaxed atmosphere that invites everyone to be themselves. And even though I am very new at this company it is clear that SoftwareONE put a lot of effort into educating their employees. Making sure that you feel you have your own goals and projects to work towards.
I can't think of a con. And for me this is a pro. But if you don't like working for a global company, softwareONE is not for you. Geography is not something that is in the way to create close bonds and a lot of my daily contacts are across the globe.
Product owner
work life-balance Allowing freedom to work remotely
Even though working with cutting edge technology, still not quite efficient as Organisation
Good culture and work life balance
Salaries not the best to be honest
Senior procurement manager
Current pros- timely fixed salary
Shortage of resources from last 2 years, Indian management runs on bureaucracy. Constantly finding ways of cutting your goals. Used to be a really good organization 5 years back, but now it's just like any other Indian Company in the market. Payscale is not very good. Focus is not on quality, but on quantity of work.
Consulting solutions manager
The Interview process was so clear and i got the updates after my Interview within 2 days , which is really good for an employee . They also sent me the Offer letter and had a call to discuss my Expectation too . The Preboarding process started 3 weeks before my Joining which is exciting and also helps to keep expectations clear from both sides .
Nothing as of now , all good.
Director of sales, marketing & partnerships
Culture, autonomy, leadership, offerings,customer satisfaction
Acquiring and integrating companies could cause some disruption but also create lots of new opportunities
Procurement specialist
Procurement learning Cabs Work from home
No work-life balance No proper training
Account manager
Great Place To work, exceeds expectations, you can grow your career and meet a great load of people
there are no cons of working at softwareone
Associate software engineer
Big Company with a lot of side benefits
Bad project management, and salary policy
Software services
Great bunch of people, culture is second to none. Lots of opportunities to learn and grow.
Intense client requirements can lead to some stress.
The advantages I can think of, is that compared to other MSPs and consultancy firms the way you are treated and the resources you are given are not that bad. There is little pressure (this varies a lot from region to region, or to global though), and the company is rather flexible with time off etc. They also have a nice policy that allows you to bring your own device that the company partially covers. Also, in global positions the pay is at market levels. Work and life balance is also quite good in most cases.
SoftwareOne markets itself as a disruptive, familiar environment with an employee first approach, in fact they talk about "employee satisfaction" at every opportunity. This is only talk. Since I joined, I saw people dropped in probation for dodgy reasons, I saw people who had left the company being talked poorly of, and I saw more obstrusiveness and politicking that I had thithertho experienced. The amount of chaos, lack of vision, constant change in direction and structure was also likely enough to quickly burn you out. The company in general is struggling to transition to a more added-value business model, but it's stumbling in the dark. Whole departments and business lines are getting scrapped almost overnight without a clear goal in mind. The company knows that they lack the capacity to execute ambitious projects, so their strategy to meet their lofty goals is mergers and acquisitions. These are often poorly executed, and the acquired company either gets shredded or it completely takes over making the in-house employees redundant. The company also lacks innovative or disruptive product lines outside of the old licensing assessment area, and doesn't offer anything that other providers out there doesn't offer, but only usually of lower quality and standard. Human resources also clearly doesn't see high turnover and disatisfaction as being an issue, as there is no exit survey for leavers. I was not even casually asked as for my reasons when I left.
Change manager
Good environment for work life balance
Lack of clarity on company goals. Not clear career growpath
Opportunities Learnings Growth Work life balance Great leadership
Less on-site opportunities for employee
Alliance manager
Relationships are valued and encouraged
Like similar companies, business is transforming so lots of change
Brand, global presence, transformation focus
On ground reality, driving change, Horrible HR in India,
Very few benefits in company
Lots of cons in company
Good working environment and flexible timings
No work life balance Not good salary No team work Bad bosses/team leaders
Maybe the alcohol in the office...
- Worst management culture I have encountered - A lot of words yet no impact - Absolutely no idea what is happening in the market (they act like the computer has just been invented) - Automating business processes was too expensive so instead they hired cheap resources in India to do admin work (do note, no modern slavery statement anywhere on their website) - One C level executive trust no one and has to be involved in everything. Slowing down processes drastically - they act like it's normal - The services are not ready and are already way behind
Leadership
The People are the best experience
The story about culture doesn't always reflect in the actions of the top level
Talent acquisition partner
Sky is the limit to grow in SoftwareONE. You will get enough space to expand within or outside of your role.
NONE AT ALL OR ATLEAST I CAN NOT THINK OF ONE.
Flexability Benefits People's company Work from home Open culture for any discussion
Cant think of any yet
