Great working culture and amazing colleagues
Not much of cons. Company is heading the right way
Crystal expert
good pay, alot of discounted/free jewelry
bad hours, management was annoying
Assistant store manager
This job was probably one of the better retail jobs available. They offered paid time off, paid sick leave, and a 401k with company match, even to part-time employees. Managers and higher-ups were accessible and seemed truly receptive to any questions or concerns I had.
Pay was kinda low—I started at $11/hour as a sales consultant, and at 18, that’s pretty good—but the most I ever made was $16/hour as ASM, and the hours can be long and dull. I was often the only person scheduled for an entire day. It was consistent, easy money with bonuses and no commission, but it got VERY boring very quickly.
Anonymous employee
I can't really list something positive about Swarovski Costa Rica.
Everything Management Offices Salaries Human resources Leadership Working hours Not much benefits
Retail sales consultant
I got to learn a lot about the products of Swarovski, their brand history and how to style jewelry for clients. I was able to complete their outfits by suggesting products that best ignited the spark they wanted to portray.
Employees are required to wear Swarovski products when on the floor. As a male employee, I felt that there was a lack of products specifically made for men or a diversity of options for men.
Sales associate
The working environment is elegant, and the brand has a strong heritage. Colleagues are generally friendly and professional. Training is well organized, and you can learn valuable customer service and sales skills. Employee discounts are generous.
Sales targets can be stressful during peak seasons. The schedule can be quite rigid, and growth opportunities are limited for part-time staff.
The bonus structure applies to everyone in retail including Parton-time Associates.
Holiday season, holiday season, holiday season.
Marketing
Interesting work and salary, location right next to the lake
Corporate empathy free culture, help yourself and cover your back, promotions for the ones shouting the loudest, just do what you're told
There are some really passionate people
Current leadership are not inspiring and promote a culture of bullying. Which is a shame. It used to be such a great place to work. But people are treated poorly
Compensations and benefits not bad.
Managerial level also need to bare store target.
