Top management decisions rarely based on educational needs. Importance usually placed in income / profit.

salary is relatively low if you started your teaching job with this university. They only give a high salary for those who came from another institution.

There aren't much to be honest. It's a good place to study. Maybe the quality of teachers. Most teachers give off the impression of being in the institute mainly for their personal research and not actually for their passion towards teaching.

Unequal treatment. With the same qualification, expatriates always get higher positions and salaries compared to local people.

Culture may vary from department to department, so finding the right fit during the interview process is important.
