I work in the marketing team and so far, it's a fast-paced environment with a lot of opportunity to learn.
Dealing with education, you may think it's boring but it really keeps you on your toes to market the different programmes out there
Yearly increment and bonus, with appreciation dinner / lunch. Long service award. Knows how to reward staff. Good work life balance. They compensate you if you are required to work during weekends
Too many levels of hierarchy make the instructions confusing at times and some departments may be more favourable when requesting for new hire. Not much opportunity for career advancement.
Environment, spacious working space, great health benefits. Staff parking ample (most of the time). Great facilities with enthusiastic student helpers with great attitudes.
Marketing Department- in dire need of new leadership. No focus and no direction. Sufficient number of employees, however with the current method of operations, they seem to be spending excessive hours redoing mindless work. No great ideas and no creativity.
All good to me so far.
No cons I can think of.
They are very flexible and the boss was great
