Customer support engineer
An incredibly friendly atmosphere, good salary. If you want to work extra - fine, get paid. If you don't - fine too, get rest. Toxicity is prosecuted and for a good reason.
Some hiring policies really make me scratch my head.
Director
Great culture of advancement and meritocracy. I have felt a lot of loyalty from my leadership and coworkers and feel that everyone wants to me craft a career that fits with what I'm good at.
Some other orgs feel more like a revolving door outside of where I work (Customer Support). Comp is not stunning compared to some other parts of the industry.
Technical support engineer
Good team, good work, a lot of communication in English
work, no bonuses, a lot of stress
Product marketing manager
People on all teams are engaging and skilled.
Management levels are not top tier such as much more established companies; however this does not impede the general quality or professionalism across teams.
Marketing
I great place to grow as at Veeam they focus on nurturing their talents internally and give them growth opportunity.
Nothing that I know since I have worked there....
Sr product marketing manager
Remote first, knowledgeable team, good product
Odd growth strategy. After spending a ton of money to relocate team members from Russian office to Romania, and a large hiring burst in mid 2022, the company did an about face and laid off over 200 in early 2023. A lot of folks hired less than 6-8 months prior got laid off in a poorly planned RIF. Move an entire office to another country and company expense, but hire and subsequently lay off hundreds? Poor optics, poor planning.
Inside sales manager, renewal sales
- Achievable targets in Sales depts. - Additional spiffs and bonuses for employees, and overall the level of payment/its accuracy and transparency - Ability to discuss processes with Line managers and localize procedures in majority of cases - Good product - easy to sell (renew, in our case) - Respect for a person as one of internal as well as external values - Healthy work atmosphere, no internal fights for customers/projects etc (goals are set the way that a team unites) - Flexibility in work timetable (holiday switch, no minute-to-minute card track)
- Office conditions in St.Petersburg PLAZA - Many processes exist only in the heads, and are not able to be read/checked anywhere (even internally) - Lack of communication between departments - Poor marketing message (more like GO and BUY as in a regular shop), many cliches
Sales representative
Opportunities for all employees are off the charts
Nothing to compnain about honestly
Anonymous employee
Reasonable product with good features. Very, very young and vibrant culture. Minimum or no risk for the organisation as it is 100% channels driven.
Product selling is limited to small and sometimes medium business. No strategic plan from the local MD down to acquire enterprise accounts. Too many people in marketing, very inefficient. No patience to develop relationships for long term. Completely transactional, and there is no services like implementation or consulting. Difficult targets with no vision …
