Great people to work with, excellent managers that empower and enable you. Challenging work that allows personal and professional growth.
Every company has its ups and downs, I can't spot anything that has remained an issue.
Brand Recognition – Wipro is one of the top IT services companies in India and globally, which adds credibility to your resume. Job Stability – Being a large company, Wipro offers decent job security compared to startups or smaller firms. Learning & Training – Wipro provides structured training programs, certifications, and learning platforms like TalentNext, which can help you upskill. Onsite Opportunities – There are chances to work on international projects or get onsite assignments, though it depends on the project and role. Diverse Projects – Exposure to different industries (BFSI, healthcare, retail, etc.) and technologies, including AI, cloud, and cybersecurity. Work-Life Balance – Certain projects allow for a manageable work-life balance, especially compared to startups. Internal Mobility – After some experience, you can switch roles internally
Lower Salary Growth – Compared to product-based companies, salary hikes and appraisals in Wipro are often lower. Service Bond (for Freshers) – If you join as a fresher, Wipro may require a bond for a specific period. Slow Career Growth – Promotions and role changes can be slow, as Wipro follows a rigid hierarchy. Workload Variability – Some projects may have high workloads, while others may have periods of bench time. Tech Stack Limitation – While Wipro works on many technologies, innovation and niche tech opportunities may be limited compared to product-based firms or startups. HR & Management Issues – Employee concerns regarding hikes, bench policies, and project allocation can sometimes be frustrating.

Salary increment is very worst in Wipro
1. Salary as per market rates 2. Brand name 3. Offer support for training and transport if project located at customer site
1. BFSI projects are terrible. Dont ever join any EU project, especially UBS. The customer is very biased, rigid and demanding. 2. Some projects have too much internal politics. 3. Lack of support from senior management.

The management has room for improvement, especially in terms of communication and employee engagement. Feedback from employees is rarely solicited, and when it is, it often feels ignored or dismissed.
