The Account Manager (Manufacturing) is responsible for managing full set accounts, overseeing financial processes, and leading a small accounting team in a manufacturing environment. The role involves financial reporting, cost analysis, compliance, and team supervision.

The Account Manager (Manufacturing) (Cost Analysis) is responsible for managing the full set of accounts independently, overseeing monthly and annual closing processes, preparing financial statements, and managing accounts payable and receivable. The role includes bank transaction handling, cash flow management, reconciliations, fixed asset management, and supervising inventory accounting and stock management. The position also involves conducting monthly financial and performance analysis, cost variance and cost analysis, preparing management reports for the Japanese Managing Director, and supporting budgeting and budget vs. actual analysis. Additionally, the role requires liaising with external auditors during annual audits, preparing and submitting tax filings, and ensuring compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards. The Account Manager will lead and work closely with a 5-member accounting team, reviewing tasks, driving process improvements, and providing leadership and guidance.
