Operations Manager (Air Freight) (KLIA) – PERSOLKELLY Malaysia

This role is responsible for managing air freight operations at the KLIA branch, including team leadership, customer coordination, and cost control. The position oversees the workflow for cargo processes and ensures operational efficiency, safety, and quality. The Operations Manager also manages staff scheduling, performance evaluation, and communication with management and customers.

This role is responsible for overseeing air freight operations at the KLIA branch, including team management, customer coordination, and cost control. The Branch Manager serves as the person in charge of overall branch operations. Responsibilities include managing overall air freight operations, supervising workflows for cargo receipt, sorting, delivery, and documentation processes, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time performance, and communicating with on-site staff for operational improvements. The role also involves managing a team of approximately 15 staff, handling shift scheduling, work guidance, performance evaluations, maintaining team motivation, and resolving operational issues. Additionally, it includes coordinating with key customers, handling complaints and schedule adjustments, managing branch costs, preparing reports, and liaising with the Japanese Managing Director.
