Operations Manager (Air Freight) (KLIA) – PERSOLKELLY Malaysia

The Operations Manager (Air Freight) is responsible for overseeing air freight operations at the KLIA branch. This role involves managing a team and ensuring efficient workflows while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

In this position, you will oversee the daily operations of the air freight branch, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. You will work closely with your team and key customers to enhance operational performance and address any challenges that arise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage overall air freight operations and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Supervise workflows for cargo receipt, sorting, delivery, and documentation processes.
• Communicate with on-site staff to identify and implement operational improvements.
• Handle shift scheduling and provide work guidance to team members.
• Conduct performance evaluations and maintain team motivation.
• Resolve operational issues and coordinate with key customers.
• Prepare reports and manage branch costs effectively.
• Liaise with the Japanese Managing Director regarding branch operations.
