Role Summary
The AEM Developer - Digital Banking is responsible for supporting the development, maintenance, and enhancement of frontend and backend applications within the Digital Banking team for Retail Banking. This role involves collaborating closely with senior developers and business teams to deliver secure and scalable digital banking solutions.
Job Description
In this role, you will engage in day-to-day development activities, working in a dynamic environment alongside experienced professionals. You will contribute to both frontend and backend applications, ensuring high-quality digital banking solutions are delivered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior developers to design and implement digital banking applications.
- Maintain and enhance existing applications to improve functionality and user experience.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and reviews.
- Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to resolve issues efficiently.
- Work with DevOps tools to streamline deployment processes.
- Communicate effectively with business teams to gather requirements and provide updates.
Job Requirements
At least 3 years of relevant experience in software development.
Basic to intermediate knowledge of Java, J2EE, React JS, JavaScript, Spring Framework, and SQL.
Exposure to Weblogic Portal, TeamSite, or Camel (CXF) is an advantage.
Familiarity with DevOps tools such as CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Jenkins.
Understanding of Agile methodology.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Good communication and reporting skills.
