Ability to maintain food handling and sanitation standards.
Capability to perform duties of culinary and related kitchen employees during high demand times.
Skills to oversee production and preparation of culinary items while ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
Ability to coordinate service and timing of events and meals with related departments.
Comprehension of loss prevention policies and procedures.
Leadership skills to lead shifts and personally prepare food items according to specifications.
Ability to supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and kitchen workers.
Competence in checking food quality to ensure standards are met.
Skills to assist in food presentation and create decorative food displays.
Experience in supervising daily shift operations and ensuring adequate supplies, equipment, and uniforms.
Ability to monitor staffing levels to meet guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives.
Capability to ensure completion of assigned duties and participate in employee appraisal processes.
Skills to handle employee questions, communicate performance expectations, conduct training, and monitor progress.
Ability to participate in department meetings and support new menus, concepts, and promotions.
Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and handling guest problems.
Ability to empower employees to provide excellent customer service within guidelines.
Skills to report equipment malfunctions, manage purchases, and maintain inventories according to budget.
