Job Description

The Assistant Human Resources Manager engages in various HR functions, including recruitment, compensation, training, and development, within a dynamic hospitality environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in recruitment and hiring processes to attract top talent.
  • Administer employee benefits and unemployment services effectively.
  • Coordinate employee development and orientation programs to enhance job performance.
  • Maintain employee relations and communication channels to address concerns.
  • Support compliance practices, including maintaining employee files and privacy policies.
  • Manage Workers Compensation claims and collaborate on workplace safety initiatives.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED with 2 years experience in human resources or related field, or a 2-year degree in Human Resources or Business Administration with no work experience required.

Ability to assist in interviewing and networking with external recruitment sources.

Experience in maintaining communication channels and employee relations.

Knowledge of compliance practices related to employee files and safety policies.

Strong interpersonal skills for effective employee engagement.
