Role Summary
The Assistant Manager, Demand Planning is responsible for developing and maintaining accurate demand forecasts for all products. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring optimal inventory levels and monitoring stock conditions within a fast-paced environment.
Job Description
In this role, you will engage in day-to-day activities that involve leading demand review meetings and converting demand plans into replenishment strategies. You will also be responsible for tracking key performance indicators and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for all products.
- Lead demand review meetings to align on forecasts and strategies.
- Convert demand plans into effective replenishment strategies.
- Monitor stock conditions and resolve supply gaps proactively.
- Track key performance indicators to assess demand planning effectiveness.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the demand planning process.
- Provide analytical support for product launches and manage ad-hoc analyses.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Minimum 5 years experience in Demand Planning or Inventory Management.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel.
Experience in F&B or short shelf life products preferred.
Excellent communication and stakeholder alignment skills.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
Continuous improvement mindset.
