Role Summary
The Assistant Manager - Vendor Cyber Risk is responsible for managing supply chain cyber risks by performing risk assessments of third-party engagements. This role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders and vendors in a dynamic regulatory environment to enhance Vendor Risk Management.
Job Description
In this position, you will conduct cybersecurity assessments, monitor compliance, and support various enhancement projects. You will work closely with both internal teams and external vendors to identify and mitigate risks effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage supply chain cyber risks through comprehensive risk assessments.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on vendor risk management strategies.
- Conduct cybersecurity assessments of third-party vendors.
- Monitor continuous compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Support enhancement projects within Vendor Risk Management.
- Participate in various projects to develop skills and expertise.
- Build strategic partnerships with internal stakeholders to foster collaboration.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
Minimum 8 years of experience in Information Security or Technology Risk Management.
Prior exposure to vendor risk management and/or privacy laws and regulations is a plus.
Information Security or Risk Management certification is advantageous.
Flexibility to work UK shift and accommodate vendor/internal meetings during US business hours.
