The Assistant Manager - Vendor Cyber Risk is responsible for managing supply chain cyber risks by performing risk assessments of third-party engagements to identify and reduce risks posed by vendors. The role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders and vendors, conducting cybersecurity assessments, monitoring continuous compliance, and supporting enhancement projects within Vendor Risk Management. This position requires working in a dynamic regulatory environment and participating in various projects to develop skills and expertise.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
Minimum 8 years of experience in Information Security or Technology Risk Management.
Prior exposure to vendor risk management and/or privacy laws and regulations is a plus.
Understanding of technology controls and information security controls.
Exposure to cloud technologies and cloud security, preferably AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Flexibility to work UK shift and accommodate vendor/internal meetings during US business hours.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize while maintaining attention to detail.
Ability to build strategic partnerships with internal stakeholders.
Critical thinker with strong qualitative skills.
Information Security or Risk Management certification is advantageous.
