This role involves assisting with promoting the lounge, menu planning, maintaining operational standards, supporting servers during peak times, and managing the property's liquor inventories and controls. The position aims to ensure guest and employee satisfaction while managing the operating budget and enforcing legal and company policies professionally. The role also includes training staff, participating in financial management, developing menus and promotions, and providing excellent customer service.
High school diploma or GED with 4 years experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area; or a 2-year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related major with 2 years experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.
Ability to implement beverage policy and procedures and ensure compliance with all local, state and Federal beverage and liquor laws.
Knowledge of beverage controls including inventory management, portion control, cost controls, and sales analysis.
Capable of managing budget, operating statements, payroll progress reports, and departmental controllable expenses to meet financial goals.
Experience in training and supervising bar/lounge staff, ensuring staff understand operational expectations and company policies.
Strong customer service skills including responding to guest feedback and complaints effectively.
Ability to support human resource activities including new employee orientation and corrective action plans.
Commitment to maintaining food handling and sanitation standards.
Ability to communicate critical event information to staff and work collaboratively with other outlets when needed.
