In this dynamic role, the Assistant Venue Manager will manage daily operations of the bar and lounge, supervising staff and ensuring high service standards. The position requires a proactive approach to promoting the lounge and maintaining operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily bar and lounge operations to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Supervise and train bar staff to meet operational expectations.
- Assist in promoting the lounge and developing marketing strategies.
- Manage liquor inventories and enforce compliance with beverage policies.
- Support servers during peak times to enhance guest experience.
- Maintain operational standards and ensure adherence to company policies.
- Participate in financial management and budget oversight.
- Develop and plan menus and promotions to attract guests.
Job Requirements
High school diploma or GED with 4 years of experience in food and beverage, or a 2-year degree in a related field with 2 years of experience.
Strong knowledge of beverage controls and compliance with local laws.
Experience in managing budgets and departmental expenses.
Proven ability to train and supervise staff effectively.
Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle guest feedback.
