The Associate Director of Upstream Consulting leads high-impact projects involving strategic support, transaction due diligence, and technical asset evaluation. This role bridges client engagement and project execution, managing teams to deliver sophisticated economic models and data-driven insights. The successful candidate will drive business development, mentor junior consultants, and integrate advanced analytics or AI into consulting workflows to solve complex challenges for energy industry leaders.
Bachelor or Master’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 10 years of professional experience with major oil and gas companies, focusing on the Upstream sector.
Proven track record in project management and delivering complex deliverables such as large datasets and dynamic models.
Prior experience in management consulting or strategic advisory is strongly preferred.
Proficiency with data analytics technologies including PowerBI, Tableau, Python, R, or SQL.
Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills in English.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision while effectively mentoring junior team members.
