The Associate Professor - Finance is responsible for teaching, which includes the design, preparation, and delivery of teaching materials through classes, lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions. The role involves curriculum development, student consultation, assessment, and maintaining high teaching standards. The professor supports postgraduate students in research projects and contributes to research activities by conducting studies, presenting at conferences, publishing in journals, securing research grants, and meeting research output targets.
Possess a PhD from a recognised university in Finance or other related fields.
Candidate must have at least seven (7) years of experience in teaching or industry.
Possess a strong publication record with at least 7-10 publications in C.I. journals (ISI, SCOPUS) in the last 5 years.
Secured research grant(s) as a Principal Investigator worth RM75,000-RM100,000 (cumulative).
Graduated at least 2 PhD students.
H-index of minimum 2.
Experience working in higher education environment and a track record of teaching experience and professional knowledge of curriculum development or good record of professional experience with evidence of coaching and mentoring and a high quality of presentation skills.
Experience in developing teaching methodologies and materials, including the effective use of IT technologies in the facilitation of teaching and learning.
Experience working on research projects and activities or experience of professional practice or consultancy work, including evidence of appropriate outputs.
