Role Summary
The AWS Cloud Engineer is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and support of AWS-based infrastructure solutions for enterprise clients. This role involves ensuring high availability, security, and performance across cloud environments while mentoring junior engineers and driving automation and optimization initiatives.
Job Description
As a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer, you will engage in day-to-day activities that include designing and implementing cloud solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing support for AWS infrastructure. You will work in a dynamic environment that emphasizes innovation and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of AWS infrastructure solutions.
- Ensure high availability and performance of cloud environments.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Drive automation initiatives to optimize cloud operations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements.
- Implement security best practices across cloud solutions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience.
AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator preferred.
5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, with at least 3 years focused on AWS.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
