Job Description
As an Azure Infrastructure & Data Engineer at S&P Global, you will design, build, and operate secure and scalable Azure infrastructure that supports application, data, and AI workloads. Your responsibilities will include managing Azure networking, implementing identity and access management, and supporting production workloads with a focus on data ingestion, transformation, and performance optimization. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure data quality and governance while optimizing costs across data workloads.
Job Requirements
3+ years hands-on experience with Azure core infrastructure services
Deep understanding of networking and security concepts in cloud environments
Experience building and operating IaC-driven platforms
Familiarity with CAF, Well-Architected Framework, and Zero Trust principles
Strong experience with Azure data services (Fabric or Synapse, ADF, ADLS, SQL)
Solid SQL skills and experience with data transformation patterns
Understanding of modern analytics architectures (lakehouse, data mesh concepts)
