The Base 24 Lead Developer role involves leading the design, development, and maintenance of the BASE24 Classic payments platform focusing on core components such as authorization, settlement, and transaction monitoring. This position requires collaboration with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business teams to deliver secure and scalable payment solutions, as well as driving strategic initiatives like tokenization and migration to BASE24 eps.
Job Requirements
Minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering or related fields.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior developers.
Experience working with payment platforms, specifically BASE24 Classic and knowledge of newer technologies such as BASE24 eps.
Ability to resolve production issues and perform root cause analysis.
Familiarity with enforcing coding and security standards.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business units.
Strong communication skills to document technical and functional requirements.
Commitment to continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
Ability to conduct code reviews and promote best practices in coding and system design.
