Base 24 Lead Developer – Cognizant Malaysia

The Base 24 Lead Developer is responsible for leading the design, development, and maintenance of the BASE24 Classic payments platform. This role involves collaboration with various teams to deliver secure and scalable payment solutions while driving strategic initiatives.

In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of the BASE24 Classic payments platform, focusing on core components such as authorization, settlement, and transaction monitoring. You will work closely with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality payment solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of the BASE24 Classic payments platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure payment solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and promote best practices in coding.
• Resolve production issues and conduct root cause analysis.
• Enforce coding and security standards across the development team.
• Drive strategic initiatives such as tokenization and migration to BASE24 eps.
• Document technical and functional requirements clearly.
