Role Summary
The Business Analyst is responsible for collaborating with price reporters to gather requirements and conduct thorough analysis. This role plays a crucial part in enabling S&P Global Energy to disseminate extensive data and content through multiple delivery channels.
Job Description
In this role, you will engage with price reporters to translate business needs into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria. You will also manage backlogs, facilitate scrum ceremonies, and support User Acceptance Testing to ensure business continuity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with price reporters to collect and analyze requirements.
- Translate business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Map processes and identify inefficiencies within workflows.
- Manage project backlogs and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Facilitate scrum ceremonies to ensure team alignment and progress.
- Support User Acceptance Testing to validate deliverables.
- Provide second-line support to maintain business continuity.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
At least 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
Minimum 1 year of experience in data lineage and analysis.
Proficient in Agile, Scrum, and LEAN methodologies.
Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
Experience managing project lifecycles and meeting tight deadlines.
Familiarity with project management tools like Azure DevOps, Visio, Miro, and SharePoint.
