
The Business Development Manager (Insurance) is responsible for servicing and growing the portfolio of insurance clients. This role involves developing new insurance schemes and conducting market research to ensure the product's value proposition remains relevant and compelling.
In this role, you will engage with clients to understand their needs and preferences while monitoring the performance of insurance products. You will work in a dynamic environment that requires both independent and collaborative efforts to drive business growth. Key Responsibilities: - Develop new insurance schemes and segments to expand the client portfolio. - Monitor and analyze insurance product performance to identify areas for improvement. - Conduct market research to understand customer needs and preferences. - Create unique value propositions for insurance products. - Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product offerings. - Provide insights and recommendations based on market trends and analysis.
Candidate must possess any of the following or equivalent insurance qualifications (e.g. PCEIA/ FCII/ CPCU/ AII/ etc.)
Minimum 4 - 7 years working experience in the insurance industry, preferably in insurance broking houses.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
Must possess own transport.
