The Cafe Manager at Drury Heritage Cafe Lounge is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day execution of cafe operations, guest experience, team performance, and service standards. The role requires active leadership on the floor, greeting guests, resolving issues, supporting food and beverage preparation, and ensuring all service zones are maintained to high standards. The manager works closely with operations and management to maintain brand quality, coach the team, and ensure compliance with hygiene, licensing, and safety regulations.
3–5 years of experience in a similar food and beverage or retail operations role with team leadership experience.
Preferred experience in cafe, lounge, or bar environments.
Leads from the floor with a strong service mindset focused on guest service and team synergy.
Familiarity with local authority regulations including DBKL, Bomba, and Health Department.
Experience in hiring and supervising front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
Proficiency in operating POS systems, inventory logs, staff scheduling tools, and cafe reporting.
Self-starter who is highly organized, calm under pressure, with high integrity and reliable follow-through.
Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; knowledge of Mandarin, Cantonese, or other foreign languages is an advantage.
