The role involves working as a chef in a hot kitchen, pastry, or baking environment in a fast-paced restaurant and central kitchen. Responsibilities include setting up and stocking workstations, preparing food and baked goods to company standards, cooking menu items in collaboration with kitchen staff, following instructions from executive or head chefs, cleaning stations, managing leftovers, and ensuring timely and high-quality food service while adhering to nutrition, sanitation, and safety regulations.
Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook.
Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
Familiar with industry’s best practices.
Culinary school diploma is bonus.
