The Clerk-Accounting is responsible for checking figures, postings, and documents for accuracy and proper coding. This role involves organizing and maintaining files, records, cash, and cash equivalents according to policies and procedures. The clerk records, stores, accesses, and analyzes computerized financial information as well as maintains accurate electronic spreadsheets for financial and accounting data. Duties also include classifying, coding, and summarizing numerical and financial data to keep records using journals, ledgers, or computers, preparing and distributing various financial and payroll reports, completing period-end closing procedures, and handling billing and invoicing in line with company standards. The role requires maintaining confidentiality, protecting company assets, communicating professionally, and supporting team goals.
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
At least 1 year of related work experience.
No supervisory experience required.
Ability to organize and maintain financial records accurately.
Proficiency with computerized financial information and electronic spreadsheets.
Strong attention to detail for checking figures and documents for accuracy.
Ability to communicate clearly with guests and coworkers in a professional manner.
Capability to handle multiple tasks including preparing financial reports and billing.
Physical ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.

Willingness to perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
