Clerk, Counter Sales at Sime Darby Motors - Kuala Lumpur

The Clerk, Counter Sales is responsible for managing parts quotations and sales transactions for external customers. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem resolution.

In this role, you will engage with customers daily, preparing parts quotations and handling sales transactions. You will work in a dynamic environment that requires attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare parts quotations with pricing, freight charges, and stock availability.
• Issue cash and credit sales documents accurately.
• Override parts pricing upon approval from superiors.
• Resolve customer problems promptly and efficiently.
• Track backorder parts and provide updates to customers.
• Maintain accurate daily cash sales records.
• Submit cash reconciliation journals to the Accounts department.
• Request credit limit release for sales orders.
• Maintain proper filing systems for documentation.
• Perform general clerical duties as assigned by superiors.
