
The Commis - Pastry is responsible for preparing ingredients and cooking food according to recipes and quality standards. This role plays a vital part in maintaining the kitchen's efficiency and upholding the high standards of Marriott International.
In this role, you will engage in daily kitchen operations, preparing and cooking a variety of pastry items while ensuring cleanliness and food safety. You will work in a dynamic team environment, contributing to the overall success of the culinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
At least 1 year of related work experience.
Ability to follow safety and security policies and procedures.
Capability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
Good communication skills to speak clearly and professionally.
Willingness to perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
