The Contracting Counsel Manager - NRR 3950 is responsible for leading, structuring, drafting, and negotiating complex client transactions in a fast-paced corporate environment. This role involves advising senior company leadership on legal risks associated with transactions, managing and advising junior legal professionals, and supporting Legal, Business, and Sales Leadership in executing market-facing strategies. The position requires staying informed on industry developments and participating in developing internal guidelines and toolkits to enhance legal and business practices.
Strong legal knowledge and experience in negotiating complex client transactions.
Ability to advise senior leadership on legal risks and market-related matters.
Experience managing and mentoring junior legal professionals.
Capability to stay updated on industry developments and integrate them into transactional practices.
Skills in educating and advising company executives on legal and risk management issues.
Expertise in developing subject matter knowledge beneficial to Legal and business departments.
Willingness to support and implement Legal Group initiatives.
Ability to embrace and evolve contracting attributes such as being business-minded, relevant, and technology enabled.
Strong interpersonal skills to work with internal teams and external clients and counsel.
