Credit Analyst – Manulife

The Credit Analyst is responsible for conducting in-depth investment research and fundamental credit analysis on assigned credit coverage universe. This role involves monitoring portfolio holdings and providing independent investment recommendations while collaborating with regional credit teams.

In this role, you will engage with company management and rating agencies to discern key credit drivers while producing credit review reports and updates. You will also support fixed income investment-related marketing and product development efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth investment research and fundamental credit analysis.
• Monitor portfolio holdings, market developments, and corporate actions.
• Provide independent and timely investment recommendations and opinions.
• Produce credit review reports and regular updates for companies and debt securities.
• Engage with company management, rating agencies, and sell-side counterparties.
• Collaborate with regional credit teams on meetings, publications, and projects.
• Address internal and external requests regarding credits and sectors.
• Contribute to ongoing investment ideas and discussions.
• Support fixed income investment-related marketing and product development.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects and requests as needed.
