Role Summary
The Developer - SBE Platform Engineering GIPS is responsible for supporting Linux and middleware administration within the GIPS domain. This junior-level position plays a crucial role in ensuring system performance, security, and availability while integrating with various databases.
Job Description
In this role, you will assist with the deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of technologies such as RHEL, JBoss, WebLogic, MQ, and Kafka. You will work in a collaborative environment, supporting cross-functional teams to enhance application and infrastructure performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the deployment and configuration of Linux and middleware technologies.
- Troubleshoot issues related to RHEL, JBoss, WebLogic, MQ, and Kafka.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security.
- Ensure integration with Oracle and MySQL databases.
- Support system performance optimization initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for application support.
- Document processes and procedures for system administration.
Job Requirements
3-5 years of experience in Linux and middleware engineering.
Knowledge of RHEL, JBoss, WebLogic, MQ, and Kafka.
Familiarity with Unix scripting and SQL query development for automation.
Ability to troubleshoot Linux, middleware, and database connectivity issues.
Strong collaborative skills to work with cross-functional teams.
