The Draughtsman / Draftsperson is responsible for preparing and updating detailed engineering drawings and plans. This role involves collaborating with engineers and site teams to ensure accuracy and adherence to design intent in a dynamic work environment.
Job Description
In this position, the Draughtsman / Draftsperson will engage in the daily preparation and revision of civil, structural, and geotechnical drawings using AutoCAD or equivalent software. The role requires close coordination with project teams to maintain documentation and support project deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and update detailed engineering drawings and plans.
- Draft and revise civil, structural, and geotechnical drawings based on engineering input.
- Coordinate with engineers and site teams to ensure drawing accuracy.
- Maintain records and documentation for submission and approvals.
- Assist in preparing as-built drawings and technical documentation.
- Support project teams in producing layout and detail drawings as needed.
- Ensure compliance with design intent and project specifications.
Job Requirements
Certificate or Diploma in Drafting, Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
Proficient in AutoCAD and familiar with civil or infrastructure drawings.
Less than 1 - 3 years of experience in drafting or design work.
Knowledge in slope drawings, soil profiles, or geotechnical layout is an added advantage.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with project teams.
