Role Summary
The Draughtsman / Draftsperson prepares and updates detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD or similar software. They work closely with engineers and site teams to ensure accuracy and maintain documentation for project submissions and approvals.
Job Description
The Draughtsman / Draftsperson is responsible for preparing and updating detailed engineering drawings, plans, and sections using AutoCAD or equivalent software. They draft and revise civil, structural, and geotechnical drawings based on engineering input and site data, coordinate with engineers and site teams to ensure drawing accuracy and design intent, and maintain records and documentation for submission and approvals. They also assist in preparing as-built drawings and technical documentation and support project teams in producing layout and detail drawings as needed.
Job Requirements
Certificate or Diploma in Drafting, Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
Proficient in AutoCAD and familiar with civil or infrastructure drawings.
Less than 1 - 3 years of experience in drafting or design work.
Knowledge in slope drawings, soil profiles, or geotechnical layout is an added advantage.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with project teams.
