The Business Development Executive is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders. The role involves identifying new business opportunities and market segments, preparing proposals and presentations, conducting market research and competitor analysis, following up on leads, and coordinating meetings and negotiations to support company growth.
Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or relevant field.
Minimum 1 3 years of experience in Business Development or related roles (construction or engineering industry is an advantage).
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Able to prepare proposals, presentations, and professional documents.
Good understanding of tender processes, project documents, and client engagement requirements.
Able to conduct research and analyse market or industry information.
Proactive, result-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong networking skills and confidence in dealing with external stakeholders.
Good command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Possess own transport and willing to travel for meetings, site visits, and BD activities.
High level of professionalism, responsibility, and confidentiality.
