The Account Assistant is responsible for supporting the management of financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and monthly closing activities. The role involves preparing invoices, assisting in audits, and maintaining accurate accounting documentation.
The Account Assistant is responsible for assisting in handling the full set of accounts including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and monthly closing. The role involves preparing invoices, payment vouchers, performing bank reconciliations, maintaining proper filing and documentation of accounting records, assisting in the preparation of monthly financial reports and schedules, and supporting audit, tax, and statutory submissions by providing required documents and information.
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 1–2 years of working experience in handling full set of accounts (fresh graduates may be considered).
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including AP, AR, and general ledger.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. SQL / AutoCount / UBS or equivalent).
Good attention to detail, organised, and able to meet deadlines.
Able to work independently as well as part of a team with good communication skills.
