The Engineer in Hospital Engineering Services is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of facility systems within the hospital. This role plays a critical part in maintaining high standards of safety and quality in healthcare environments.
Job Description
In this role, you will engage in the daily management of the Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) service schedule, ensuring that all facility systems are functioning optimally. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to oversee maintenance activities and ensure compliance with quality management policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and monitor the Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) service schedule.
- Schedule corrective maintenance as required.
- Manage service contracts with vendors effectively.
- Oversee testing and commissioning of new facilities.
- Compile and present monthly maintenance reports.
- Ensure compliance with quality management policies.
- Participate in training and service quality initiatives.
Job Requirements
Degree in Engineering or related fields.
5+ years in hospital engineering or facility operations.
Exposure to accreditation processes (MSQH, JCI, IMS).
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Proficient in maintenance management systems.
Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
