The Environment Support Engineer Junior role is part of the Retail Banking technology team within Digital Banking. This position involves providing environment support, middleware and database troubleshooting, automation, and management of SSL certificates. The candidate will work with banking applications running on Windows and Unix operating systems, focusing on ensuring system stability and availability through collaboration with various technical teams.
Job Requirements
Understanding of Windows and Unix operating systems.
Basic knowledge of middleware administration on servers such as Tomcat, JBOSS, WebLogic, and IIS.
Basic knowledge of database administration and troubleshooting with Oracle, SQL Server, and MariaDB.
Ability to perform middleware and database troubleshooting.
Experience with automation tasks using shell scripting and other tools.
Knowledge of SSL certificate deployment, renewal, and configuration.
Ability to collaborate with application, infrastructure, and database teams.
Skills in incident management, monitoring, and preventive maintenance for IT environments.
