This role involves providing timely and effective technical support for end-users onsite, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues. The position requires installing, configuring, and upgrading desktop computers, laptops, and other peripheral devices, as well as deploying devices to new joiners and collecting returned devices from resigned staff. Routine maintenance, system updates, and security patches must be performed to ensure optimal performance and security compliance. The role also includes assisting employees with software installations and application support, maintaining accurate IT asset records, educating users on best practices, collaborating with the ICT team to resolve complex technical issues, ensuring compliance with ISMS policies and data security protocols, and responding professionally to user requests while maintaining clear communication during issue resolution.
Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Skills in installing, configuring, and upgrading desktop computers, laptops, and peripheral devices.
Experience in device deployment and collection processes.
Capability to perform routine maintenance, system updates, and security patches on end user devices.
Proficiency in assisting with software installations, updates, and application support.
Competence in maintaining accurate records of IT assets and service requests.
Good communication skills to educate users and respond professionally to requests.
Ability to collaborate with team members to resolve complex technical issues.
Knowledge of ISMS policies and data security protocols.
