Job Description
In this role, you will engage in day-to-day technical support activities, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, as well as performing routine maintenance on devices. You will work closely with employees to assist them with their IT needs in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to end-users onsite.
- Troubleshoot issues with hardware, software, and connectivity.
- Install, configure, and upgrade desktop computers, laptops, and peripheral devices.
- Deploy devices to new employees and collect devices from departing staff.
- Perform routine maintenance, system updates, and security patches.
- Assist employees with software installations and application support.
- Maintain accurate IT asset records and service requests.
- Educate users on best practices for device usage.
- Collaborate with the ICT team for complex technical issues.
- Ensure adherence to information security management system (ISMS) policies.
Job Requirements
Strong technical knowledge of hardware, software, and connectivity troubleshooting.
Ability to install, configure, and upgrade desktop and laptop computers and peripheral devices.
Experience with routine maintenance, system updates, and security patching.
Good communication skills to educate users and provide professional responses to requests.
Understanding of ISMS policies and data security protocols.
