
The Facility Engineer is responsible for managing the operation, maintenance, and performance of all hospital building services and infrastructure systems. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and compliance of hospital facilities in a dynamic healthcare environment.
The Facility Engineer will assist the Hospital Engineer in overseeing daily operations and maintenance activities within the hospital. This position requires collaboration with various teams to ensure optimal performance of all engineering systems and compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or equivalent technical discipline.
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in hospital or healthcare engineering management.
Familiarity with Sarawak utility regulations (EIU), MOH/MDA requirements, MSQH standards, and ISO 9001/14001/45001 systems.
Strong technical knowledge of hospital electrical, mechanical, and biomedical systems.
Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
Proficient in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and MS Office.
Possess or actively pursue the Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) certification.
