Geographic Legal Counsel Assoc Manager – Accenture Malaysia

The Geographic Legal Counsel Associate Manager is responsible for providing comprehensive legal support focused on local laws related to CORE matters. This role involves significant interaction with stakeholders and team management, ensuring compliance and effective legal initiatives within Accenture and its corporate functions.

In this role, you will engage in legal research, develop compliance approaches, and manage corporate matters while overseeing team members and their development. You will also handle recruitment and training activities, contributing to the overall legal strategy of the organization.

• Provide legal support to corporate functions on local and global matters.
• Advise internal teams on operational legal issues.
• Manage corporate matters related to local entities and acquisitions.
• Supervise management of SharePoint and communication records.
• Create checklists and process documents.
• Suggest and encourage process improvements.
• Collaborate with technology teams for tool development and enhancement.
• Build credible relationships with internal stakeholders and onshore counsels.
• Manage recruitment and resolution of team conflicts.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and developmental feedback to team members.
