Role Summary
The Head of Technology Services is responsible for overseeing IT support aligned with the organization's vision and goals. This role plays a critical part in managing IT staff and ensuring effective communication across departments to enhance service delivery.
Job Description
In this role, you will manage the daily operations of the IT department, ensuring that all support services are delivered efficiently and effectively. You will collaborate with various teams to address operational issues and implement technology projects that align with the organization's objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee IT support in line with the organization's vision and mission.
- Attend meetings to discuss and resolve operational issues.
- Respond to calls from staff and provide timely IT support.
- Ensure proper backup procedures and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Supervise IT staff in their daily operations and tasks.
- Inform the Operations Manager of any changes affecting IT services.
- Manage project implementation to enhance IT service standards.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in IT management.
Strong understanding of IT service management frameworks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
