This role involves managing recruitment, maintaining employee records, and supporting various HR functions including policy drafting, compliance, and employee relations. The candidate will work closely with management and employees to support the overall human resources operations.
The HR role involves managing recruitment and talent acquisition by collaborating with department heads, posting job ads, screening CVs, arranging interviews, and maintaining relationships with job platforms, universities, and recruitment partners. The role also includes maintaining employee records, handling onboarding and resignation procedures, managing attendance and leave records, and supporting payroll preparation. The candidate will assist in drafting HR policies, ensure compliance with Malaysian labour laws, support disciplinary procedures, and provide HR guidance to managers and staff. Additionally, the role includes acting as a contact point for employee inquiries, organizing staff activities and company events, supporting gifting seasons, and aiding in building a positive company culture. The position also involves assisting in implementing performance review processes, supporting onboarding plans and training coordination, and tracking development needs and career progression structures.
Minimum 2 years of working experience in HR (generalist or HR admin preferred).
Familiar with Malaysian labour law and standard HR practices (recruitment, attendance, contracts, termination etc.).
Good command of English; ability to communicate in Mandarin / Malay is an added advantage.
Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Comfortable working in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment.
Proficient in basic office tools (Excel / Google Sheets); experience with HR systems is a plus.
