Role Summary
The Infra Build - Cloud Network Engineer is responsible for implementing and validating network infrastructure components within a secure AWS Landing Zone environment. This role involves collaboration with both cloud and traditional network teams to ensure effective network integration and functionality.
Job Description
In this role, you will engage in hands-on configuration, functional testing, and documentation while working in a dynamic environment that bridges cloud and on-premises networks. You will play a crucial part in supporting VLAN segmentation, routing, and firewall integration during the cloud build-out.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement network infrastructure components within AWS Landing Zone.
- Validate network configurations and functionality in cloud environments.
- Collaborate with cloud and traditional network teams for effective integration.
- Support VLAN segmentation and routing configurations.
- Conduct functional testing using network tools like ICMP/ping and traceroute.
- Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation.
- Implement monitoring and logging solutions using AWS tools.
Job Requirements
Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts.
Experience with AWS networking components.
Familiarity with Route 53 DNS configurations.
Ability to set up hybrid connectivity solutions.
Experience with network functional testing tools.
Knowledge of monitoring and logging via AWS services.
