The Insurance Operations Analyst (SME) is a senior-level role focused on leveraging deep expertise in insurance underwriting and claims processing. You will provide specialized support to the team, lead process improvement initiatives, and maintain standard operating procedures. Key tasks include managing complex policy transactions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior staff to ensure adherence to service level agreements and regulatory standards.
Bachelor’s degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in any field.
2–4 years of experience as a Subject Matter Expert in insurance underwriting or claims.
Strong expertise in insurance products and underwriting guidelines.
Proficiency in written and spoken English.
Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to lead and mentor junior team members.
Experience in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) or Shared Services is preferred.
Familiarity with industry regulations and service level agreements.
